Job Summary
      The Packaging Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the procurement of packaging including the planning, coordination, and implementation of production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of packaging factories, as well as a focus on efficiency, quality control, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
      
      Key Responsibilities:
      1. Production Oversight:
       - Review all projects currently in production to ensure they are completed on-time, on-spec and on-budget.
       - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to meet production goals.
      2. Team Leadership:
       - Lead, mentor, and train packaging personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration and safety.
       - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
      3. Process Optimization:
       - Analyze workflow and identify bottlenecks, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
       - Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure reliable operation of packaging machinery.
      4. Quality Control:
       - Ensure packaging meets company and industry quality standards by conducting regular inspections and audits.
       - Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes.
      5. Inventory Management:
       - Oversee inventory levels for packaging materials and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability.
       - Manage and optimize storage and distribution of finished products.
      6. Regulatory Compliance:
       - Ensure all packaging operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
       - Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact packaging processes.
      7. Collaboration:
       - Work closely with R&D, marketing, and logistics teams to develop and implement new packaging solutions.
